Summary

We're looking for a motivated client leader to join our team! The Account Director will manage the day-to-day responsibilities of one of our key accounts. They will lead the integrated agency team in pursuit of the client's mission aiming to strengthen and grow the relationship.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and sell in new projects/scope expansion by demonstrating confidence, authority, and solid decision-making as the agency’s leadership voice
  • Motivate and inspire SCC Client Leadership, Creative, Production, Project Management, and Media teams through the development and execution of activation plans
  • Help develop intention briefs that accurately represent the client’s needs to circulate to internal teams
  • Oversee management of the account's annual budget, related agency fees, and production expenses to create the scope of work
  • Build strong relationships with senior-level client counterparts
  • Lead annual business planning for the account

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Account Management experience, CPG experience a plus
  • Analytic ability to organize data and input/draw insightful conclusions
  • Proven ability to lead the development of compelling, strategic, and integrated marketing and communication plans
  • Proven experience in managing multiple clients, a collaborative leader comfortable working with agency partners and leading diverse teams
  • Broad range of experience across business categories and communications media
  • Experience in working with an Integrated Agency model with a creative process
  • Examples of negotiating skills, talent development, and delivering growth by identifying and building business opportunities
  • Proficient in creating national, integrated, full-funnel campaigns
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance the client’s success in the marketplace
  • Strong financial acumen; experience with estimating, billing, and SOW development
  • Excellent written and oral communication
